Dating back to 1888, the industrial monument situated in the new Marina Quarter is particularly distinguished by the so-called “Zollingerhalle”. The convention center hall, was named after its special, UNESCO World heritage listed ceiling, designed by architect Friedrich Zollinger. In order to make the most of the Zollingerhalle’s unique atmosphere, the ceiling will be extensively restored and visible throughout the entire hall. In this way, yet another heritage listed building in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Regensburg will be available for conferences, meetings and events.
